Munich is the largest and the capital city of the German state Bavaria. It has a rich history and superbly amazing sights that will make your visit worth every penny. Munich is definitely one of the best destinations to visit. The parks and the gardens are absolutely remarkable bringing in a sense of peace and calm when you are around them.
The Englische Garten (English Garden) is one of the gardens that any first time visitor should make a point of visiting. There are various species of beautiful trees and they are all arranged in a beautiful orderly manner. There are so many spots in this garden and one of them is the Japanese tree house which regularly hosts Japanese tree ceremonies. Athletes train here including footballers and cyclists. The Olympic park, Olympiaberg in northern Munich offers beautiful scenery especially when at the top of the hill. You can get to see a wide area of Munich from here including mountains. You can get to see how the roofs in Munich blend in well with the environment, not forgetting the roads and the trees.
There are many castles and palaces in Munich but a particularly interesting one is the Nymphenburg Palace which was built by five generations of Wittelsbach rulers. The inside of the palace is lavishly decorated and it is beautiful as well. There are many portraits of beautiful women and they have been properly maintained. The garden is beautifully manicured and it is a place you would love to visit time and again. There are many trees, very tall and provide shade along the pathway. There are also decorations that have been placed on the sides of the path. It is not a place you could get bored living in. The lake that is there is also worth mentioning. It is absolutely fantastic.
The BMW welt and museum was something that could not be ignored. BMWs are one of the most amazing brands in the automotive industry so this opportunity could not be wasted just like that. There are guided tours throughout the welt, plant and museum. You can get to see the various processes that must be undertaken for a finished BMW car to be shipped to respective countries. You can also see how the robots in the factory are programmed to work. Of course, you will not miss to see the older versions of the BMW brand in the museum. You can just see the improvements that were gradually made in their cars. Being a car fanatic, I would not mind living in here forever.
Being a football fan and a keen follower of the Bundesliga, there is no way I would skip visiting the Allianz Arena which is the home of FC Bayern München (FC Bayern Munich). The stadium looks great during the day but even better during the night as it is illuminated by the lights in the stadium. There is a bar-lounge-cafe and also kiosks that fans can go to. It is worth your while to watch a game of soccer at this stadium that has hosted a number of champion league games.
